Daimler produced the DS420 model from 1968 - 1992. It was one of the most popular and recognisable British limousines. No royal wedding or state procession was complete without these stately cars. Many of the models made were exported to embassies and foreign royal households. The DS420 was originally constructed on a modified Jaguar 420G floorpan and featured the same cars 4.2 litre, twin cam six cylinder engine. All models had automatic gearboxes, independent suspension and thankfully power steering. This car was previously owned by the Mayor of Bromley. Offering seven seats (excluding the driver) this magnificent Limousine would grace any wedding and provide just the right level of Pomp and circumstance. |
